I agree. What browser are you using? IE at work has the ugly boxes you are describing, but Safari at home, doesn't. It looks MUCH better.

just got the macbook with nextday shipping, not bad. 101.00 off
can't beat it if you want it quick.
wish they did the discount to the refurbished units, but you can't win them all.
I can't believe they charge tax on shipping, thats just wrong... shipping should be flat fee after tax........

I think grotesque should be a word reserved for murderers and child pornographers, not some dude who got a very cheap iPad due to some employee error. We're pretty much all adults here- there's no need to lecture people on morals and what their personal character may or may not include.

Darn, I expected to come home from school and have it be there. :P I'm not going to be tempted to check any sites or do anything where there might be a spoiler. I think this will be a good time to practice piano & do homework. :)

- DVDs ability to copy over film to mac.
- Refresh MacBook Pro line - New processors, new keyboard, updated look
- MacBook Pro small version - A pro line like the 12inch Powerbook was. Flash memory, External CD drive (who needs one anyway?)
- All with Track Anywhere pads (The traditional trackpad is no more with an invisible pad underneath the surface of the laptop) - you can click anywhere and drag anywhere..and it will ignore palms.
- No changes to iPod or iPhone hardware
- Introducing a few new third party apps for the iPhone - Maybe a dictionary, translation tool, wikipedia app.
- Announce 3rd party sdk - ready to take-away today

Oh yeah thanks to your help in getting the SMP client and giving the GPU client a go, I am now in the top 20 producers. Not bad considering when a few years back I had only an iBook and I was producing 48 points a day and did that for over a year!
I don't know how long I will be able to sustain that rate though might have to drop back.

Threads like this crack me up....
I just gave up my iPhone for a WP7 and to be totally honest, I like it a lot more. Sure, there is a lack of app support and I would like to see it become a bit more customizable but for a phone, it, to me, is a better phone.

This is what I "love" about MacRumors, it's the only Apple fansite where Apple fans, rightly proud of their products, can log on and be TOLD what their opinions should be by rabid fans of other devices, who in turn use the fanboy card to back up their point of view, therefore rendering any reply by an Apple user pointless.
The Android fans are as bad, if not in fact worse, than the iPhone fans on here. The very notion you come to an Apple site to stress your point of view and borderline enforce it to the point of it being accepted as fact, proves as much.
