Okay it works, downloaded it from Cydia and then with a SFTH client.
But it has to upload the files at the speed of my internet connection, which isn't blistering fast. Converting and then with iTunes would go faster.
Isn't there another way with which you can put the video's on the iPod with the cable?

The speakers are built into the body of the CD player and to make a disc play, you simply pull the cable gently.
I'd rather listen to one of those waterproof radios you can take into the shower. I mean, that new stereophonic invention is going to be completely wasted when the speakers are so close together, not to mention with the 1" cones it must have to fit in such a space. The 3400c would prolly sound better without the amplifier!
Oh and... pull a cord? Pull a cord?!?

Instead of buying Microsoft Office, why not give one of the Office clones a try? NeoOffice, LibreOffice or Open Office
I would try these, nice since it is free. If you don't want to download, have you tried something like google docs?

With my car system, volume 18 with my iPhone maxed is equivelent to around 30 with my Nano - at this volume I have the sound of gentle hissing when paused. Not cool.
I'd say Nano is loud enough for general headphone use, but if there is background noise it's not that loud. If I'm spending for something to house my entire music collection, it can't be second to my phone for music volume. That's just silly.

In both cases of fopen(), you are assuming a particular value for current working directory, and from which your relative pathnames are assumed to be sensible.
I suggest checking your assumption of working directory, perhaps by NSLog()'ing the actual value, such as returned by the C function getcwd(). You should read the man page for getcwd() to see what its parameters are.

I'm a new T-Mobile customer - over from Nextel/Sprint. I find the coverage is very good. I'm not waiting for an iPhone though. Loving my new Blackberry Pearl (http://www.blackberrypearl.com) :p You know how with Apple products you marvel at the thought that went into every little detail? That's how it is with this device.
What is so great about the Pearl? I seriously considered getting one when I first heard about it, but then the reviews said that the media player software sucks. Has this been your experience? I have a Sony Ericsson phone which is great except for the exact same problem: the media player software sucks. But the Pearl software sounds even worse. Is it true that there are *no* shortcut keys for the media player? That the volume keys won't even work with the media player? I mean, I don't ask for much: volume up/down, prev/next track, play/pause. Is there any 3rd party media player software that can provide these features, at least? I dunno, from what I hear it seems the Pearl is basically an even smaller BlackBerry 7100 with expectedly great communication features, but with unexpectedly poor multimedia features. What's your take?

I think you might want to add the optical drive to the iMac G4 specs. :)

I looked into getcwd, and I was able to get the directory of the executable. I wrote some code to modify the path to go up a couple of folders, and I verified that it did the correct modifications. Furthemore, I found that the program worked just fine when I opened the package contents of the .app file and ran the executable inside the MacOS folder from Terminal.
However, the .app will not run from Finder.

I'll be down until Time Warner comes and installs road runner in my house. I hope they come and install quick! Sucks as my 2gb data plan eats up quickly :(
Should have my rig up to full power again. :D

Finder:
- Have an address bar so I can copy and paste file locations. Really useful to a developer, especially with working between the Finder and Terminal.
- Have a way of seeing how much disk space directories and their children take up, both with number sizes and graphically.
- Stop freaking putting every downloaded file in the bottom right of my Desktop, on top of the last downloaded file. Put the icon anywhere else on the free half of my Desktop.
- If I empty the trash, I expect to see that volume's space taken or available value update right away for its icon, on the Desktop.
- Tabbed Finder windows?

Weird. All three of my W7 boxes (DIY PC desktop, 2009 MBP and 2008 uMB) installed W7SP1 perfectly via Windows Update.
Have you tried downloading the update as an ISO?

Looks like having a Google exec on the board is paying off. Googlemapping your photos is a fun diversion and makes for some great mash-ups. The handheld device sounds promising as well.

Upgrading RAM is quite easy. I don't know about PNY branded RAM, but I have heard good things of Crucial and Kingston RAM, I myself use CnMemory RAM in my 2009 MBP.

Thanks, I thought it was something behind the scene going on. And just to clarify this point, can we still use it as a MDP? Or will Apple have to put out a separate port for those who want the MDP.
